Non Return Valve - Plastic Demountable

These Non Return Check Valves are ideal for fitting as a foot valve on the inlet side of external pumps sited higher than water level.

In the event of a power failure water is held within the inlet pipe and on restart the pump will have water available to prime itself and carry on pumping.

Failure to fit such a valve can often result in external pumps scavenging for water after a power failure and then over heating.

"The spring and plunger is now inside and as far as I can see you can not remove them. This makes it very difficult if you get something lodged inside that stops valve working and you wish to remove the obstruction."
