Flapper Valve Non Return With Split Unions
These Non Return Check Valves are ideal for fitting as a foot valve on the inlet side of external pumps sited higher than water level.
In the event of a power failure water is held within the inlet pipe and on restart the pump will have water available to prime itself and carry on pumping.
Failure to fit such a valve can often result in external pumps scavenging for water after a power failure and then over heating.
