AquaForte Impermax PU Primer - 4 kg

The PU primer serves as a primer for very smooth and non-porous surfaces such as ceramics, tiles, metal, plastic, etc. and thus ensures better adhesion between the existing surface and Impermax.

Suitable surfaces must not be too rough or too fine and absolutely not porous. For surfaces with concrete tiles, it is advisable to apply a cement base. For an optimal result, this cement substrate must not be too porous to prevent the absorption of Impermax (otherwise a large part of the first layer with a porous cement substrate would be absorbed). This prevents air bubbles from forming. For rough and porous surfaces it is better to first apply a layer mixed with Impermax solvent thinner (add about 10% solvent) and not apply the product at high temperatures. If the waterproof surface is very smooth and non-porous (e.g. ceramic, tile, aluminum, etc.) it can happen that the high cohesion of this product means that Impermax does not adhere immediately.
First work on the surface with PU primer, this ensures better adhesion between the existing surface and Impermax.

Consumption:

• 0.2 kg / per m²
• 4 kg are sufficient for approx. 20 m²

Usage:

The quantity used of Impermax PU Primer should be approx., 200 to 300 grams per m²
