Kusuri Eco Active
Non-toxic, chemical free treatment for reduction of pathogenic bacteria in a pond.
Eco Active stands for Ecologically-friendly Active ingredients.
This plant and herb product has been researched and developed over the past three years, enabling Kusuri to release into the market a cost-effective alternative to harsh chemical treatments. This is a water treatment and not a medicinal product. This product must not be confused with Sabbactisun or Parazoryne previously sold by Kusuri; this is a brand new formulation, allowing us to pass on substantial savings to our customers.
Many trials with independent Koi keepers has resulted in a unique formulation that will improve the aquatic environment. This water treatment will aid the recovery of fish suffering from Ulcers, Dropsy, Fin rot and parasite infestation.
For best results use between 18°C and 22°C either in a quarantine system or pond. 5 Litres will treat 2000 gallons over a ten day period, one application per day. If there is a large amount of organic matter/blanket weed in the pond, this will reduce the effectiveness of Eco Active.
Store at room temperature preferably in the dark, do not freeze. Shake well prior to each application. Dilute each dose prior to application and add slowly to the system over a thirty minute period.
Dosage
5 Litres can be used as a ten day application for a 2000 gallon pond.

Kusuri Eco Gold
ECO GOLD is a blend of beneficial bacteria and minerals that will eradicate blanket weed quickly and efficiently.
Directions:
Remove excess blanket weed prior to treatment, to stop clogging of filters etc.
Place correct amount of product for the gallonage of your pond, into a watering can of pond water, mix well and add to the pond.
Ensure good levels of oxygen at all times. Eco Gold may cloud the water for up to three days.
We recommend that once that the blanket weed has been eradicated, to use Eco pure powder on a weekly basis as required.
Dosage:
1Kg treats 3000 gallons of pond water.

Kusuri Eco-Boost Sachets
The bacterial sachet provides a stronger formula but only works above 12 C. It is suitable for summer use and heated ponds. Use once a month, or as required, to rapidly reduce the dreaded weed.
Eco Boost can be used at the same time as Eco Pure, or alone. Dissolve sachet into a bucket of pond water then add to pond. Switch UV off for 5 days, as this forms a liquid solution.
Dosage
Eco Boost sachets are each rated up to ponds of 5000 gallons.

Kusuri Eco-Pure
Inhibits blanket weed, flocculates particle matter, increases water clarity, degrades sludge
With Eco-Pure It is possible to reduce growth down and to maintain the level at about 10mm. Blanket weed can grow very fast it draws its nutrients form the water in form of Nitrates & phosphates and is accelerated by sunlight and oxygen. The bad news for us is that fish actually excrete phosphate and our filters produce Nitrates at end of the nitrifying cycle. In an enclosed pond the levels of both naturally increase over time and before you know it, you can be harvesting blanket weed weekly! Changing water can be fruitless as most public water supplies contain Nitrates & Phosphates.
Dosage:
Use cup supplied in container, add 1or 2 heaped cups (50g approx) per 1000 gallons of pond water, mix measured quantity into a bucket of pond water Stir, then apply around edge of pond area, every week.

Kusuri Klay
A unique high purity Montmorillonite clay - Research proven!
Remineralises water, improves water clarity, Koi colour & lustre, aids health, stimulates appetite.
Montmorillonite clay can contain up to 64 minerals & trace elements. Clay is not a miracle or a panacea, Purity composition & structure is the critical element with clay to achieve results and most clay can purport to be a "type" of Montmorillonite. 99.9% of most clays in the world are unsuitable to use in a Koi pond environment.
Use 1 level cup (25 grams) as supplied fixed to the inside lid of the container, to every 500 gallons of pond water. Place measured amount into a bucket of pond water and mix into a milky emulsion. Add slowly all around pond. Ensure any powder left in the bottom of the bucket is added. Pond will go milky colour which will clear on average in 6-24 hours. Use weekly all year round.
Kusuri Klay can be used twice weekly or even a small amount every day, it is a pure mineral product 100% free of any chemicals.
Health and Safety there are no implications for human health however, this is a fine powder product and could irritate dry or sensitive skin wear gloves if required. Do not inhale.

Kusuri Klear
Kusuri Klear contains beneficial nitrifying bacteria essential for filters, plus denitrifying bacteria to cope with any nasty ammonia.
Kusuri Klear, as its name implies, will increase water clarity and reduces protein discoloration and foam in ponds.
Kusuri Klear is a highly concentrated liquid culture and weekly use is thoroughly recommended as a filter pro-biotic that reduces Ammonia, Nitrites, Nitrates and soluble Phosphates.
Phosphates as well as Nitrates are the major nutrients needed for blanket weed growth, using Kusuri Klear will reduce these nutrients, suppressing blanket weed growth.
Bio Filter Dosage
Use 100ml for every 220 gallons of pond water.
For continued use to supplement bio filter activity use 50ml per 1000 gallons of pond water weekly.

Kusuri Pro-100
PRO-100 is used as a preventative. The multiplying colonies of beneficial bacteria can out-compete harmful strains of pathogens, by consuming the nutrients that they require to survive and develop. Effectively, Bacta-Pur® PRO-100 reduces the numbers of pathogens by occupying their “living space” and replacing the harmful bacteria with beneficial ones.
PRO-100 can be used in any aquatic environment because it is absolutely harmless. It is recommended not to use UV or ozone equipment when starting the application for 1 week, and to aerate the pond.
Dosage:
5ml per 1000L (220 galls) add daily for 1 week, then after initial dose, add 10ml per 1000galls every five days

Kusuri - Lithaqua KH / PH Buffer
Lithaqua is a marine mineral high in trace elements and carbonates, ideal for raising KH values. A superb filter media of porous construction, allowing a huge surface area for the growth of beneficial bacteria.
Modern filter chambers contain many and varied plastic media, these provide good support - but Lithaqua goes one stage further. Not only do the beneficial bacteria draw on nutrients from the mineral support, the media has a massive surface area up to 20 times greater than most plastic media.
Lithaqua is a biological media not intended for mechanical stages.
Use Lithaqua in a clean water chamber after mechanical removal of waste. Lithaqua is far more efficient than crushed oyster shells, and the high level of carbonates will improve carbonate alkalinity in soft water regions, neutralising low acid pH and buffer swings in pH.
