Yamitsu - Algae Master UV Quartz Sleeve
The quartz sleeve is the outer glass sleeve that seperates the water flowing through a UV unit and the electrical lamp inside the UV unit.
It is very important to maintain the quartz sleeve on a yearly basis, maintenance should include removing the quartz sleeve from the UV unit and cleaning with a mild acid / domestic cleaner.
With the quartz sleeve removed it is a good time to inspect the sleeve for damage and possible hairline fractures than can occur around the end of the quartz sleeve. If these fractures are present then replace the quartz sleeve, remember it is the Quartz sleeve that seperates the water from the electrical tube, so it must be in good condition.
When replacing the quartz sleeve don't forget to fit a new pair of 'o' ring seals to the sleeve

Yamitsu Algae Master UV Spares - Clips for End Caps
These clips fit on the outside of the electrical end caps to help create a watertight seal over the bulb holders.

Yamitsu Spares - Electrical End Cap Cover
This Yamitsu part is used to cover the bulb holder on each end of all Yamitsu Uvs.
The electrical end cap covers can become brittle with time and will almost certainly need replacing at some point through out the life of the UV unit.

The electric pack is the same shape and size that is factory fitted to the Yamitsu UV. This is a replacement pack that replaces all the electrical components on the Yamitsu UV

Yamitsu Algae Master UV Spares - Locking Nut
These locking nuts are found at each end of the UV and are designed to tighten down on to the quartz sleeve and 'o' ring to create a good seal.
These nuts become brittle with time and may require replacing at some point throughout the life of the UV unit.

These locking nuts fit all sizes of Yamitsu Algae Master UVs
Sold in singles with two required for each UV bulb.

Yamitsu Spares - Replacement Plastic UV Body
The replacement body comes with nothing else included, just the body only. If your existing Yamitsu UV body is cracked or broken you can remove all the component parts from it and put them on this new replacement body.

Yamitsu Spares - UV 'O' Ring Seals
'O' Ring Seals that go over the outside of the quartz sleeve
These seals become brittle with time and need to be replaced at least once a year to avoid water bypassing the seal and coming in to contact with the electric bulb.
