Activex - Live Bacteria
You need to use Live Bacteria to top up your filter media every Spring and Autumn and when the media is disturbed during regular maintenance.
Each bottle of Activex is full of millons of live bacteria and micro-organisms.
Dosage Guide
Add 10- 20ml of Activex directly on to approximately 3 cubic feet of filter media

Cloverleaf Bacteria Answer
Bacteria Answer is a unique blend of nitrifying bacteria to promote healthy filtration systems.
Nitrifying bacteria are vital for the establishment of a healthy balanced pond, and are a key contributor towards the development of a mature filtration system. Achieving such balance in a new fish pond is problematical, but Cloverleaf’s "Bacteria Answer" is the safe way to accelerate the process.
For new ponds, new filter systems, or sudden high fish loads, dosage with "Bacteria Answer" should be made twice a month for the first month, and once per month thereafter. For long term maintenance Cloverleaf’s "Pond Support Answer" is recommended.
Dosage of "Bacteria Answer"
Should be based on 200ml per 1000 litres of pond content, with the product mixed in 3 litres of pond water and applied with a watering can to the pond and filter system. UV clarifiers should be turned off for the first 24 hours of application.

With millions of live bacteria in every tub, when you add them to your pond not only will your filter be ready to cope with unexpected ammonia or nitrite spikes caused by things such as overfeeding, it will also help to make your water sparkle.
For ponds up to 10,000 litres add one tub of 500ml Pure Pond Balls into your filter.
Repeat once a month for great results. Pure Pond balls are biodegradeable and will disappear harmlessly over time.
Pure Pond works well with K1 filter media and all moving bed fliter media

MICROBE-LIFT FILTERGEL
Microbe-Lift Filter Gel is a technological breakthrough because it's the first product that puts the bacteria right where you want it and it STAYS THERE! Filter Gel will quickly attach to and populate any filter media including foam, strapping, floss, bio-balls, ceramic media, etc. This will help to rapidly establish the necessary biological activity in your filter to stabilize your pond's environment quickly. It will also help restore this activity to your filter when you clean or change the media in your filter.

Application:
Inoculate (spread) Filter GEL directly to filter pad or media. The Filter GEL will absorb into the pad/media by letting is set for 1 to 2 hours before inserting back into the filter or skimmer. After insertion, turn off recirculation pump for 1 to 2 hours, providing water can maintain adequate oxygenation without circulation for this amount of time.
Repeat application each cleaning/replacement of filter pads/media.
For normal maintenance use Mircrobe-Lift Clean & Clear.
