NT Labs Medikoi Growth Koi Food
Grow your Koi rapidly and safely.
Medikoi Growth Koi Food has been scientifically formulated to provide the
optimum level of healthy but rapid growth and low waste.
The high protein level of 40% is partnered with a relatively higher
oil content of 7.3%. The oil provides the energy source so that the
maximum amount of protein can be used for growth but not too high
so there is no oily slick.
This highly digestible formulation ensures that there is much less
waste as more of the food is metabolized by you fish.
For best results feed Medikoi Growth in the warmer months when
temperatures exceed 12 C.
In conjunction with the Medikoi Health & Beauty programme,
Medikoi Growth can either be used as a substitute for Medikoi Beauty or as
a second feed whilst feeding Medikoi Health.

Medikoi Health food is the best way to maintain the immune system of
your fish. The unique ingredients ensure that Medikoi Health enables
your fish to be at their healthiest.
"Stimune" helps the fish’s natural immune system to fight infection. The
immune system’s first line of defence against invading micro-organisms
are white blood cells known as macrophages. Macrophages recognise
foreign bodies including bacteria and parasites and engulf them before
they can multiply and cause disease. "Stimune" is a beta-glucan which
helps maintain large numbers of macrophages in the circulatory system.
Medikoi Health also contains a unique natural herbal formula developed
in our laboratories which helps to maintain resistance to disease .
Lemon skin, olive leaf and Artemesia all help maintain resistance to a
wide variety of infections. Valerian root has been known for a long time
to be an excellent sedative so helps to reduce stress. Other herbs in
the formula also aid digestion.

NT Labs Medikoi Silkworm Pupae
Medikoi Silkworm Pupae is a high protein growth booster. Feeding
protein is the way to make your fish grow very rapidly. Medikoi
Silkworm Pupae contain a minimum of 56% protein and are one of
the richest natural sources of protein.
Making fish grow quickly should only be done in warm weather
when the water temperature is around 15 degrees centigrade.
Medikoi Silkworm Pupae are also rich in oils known as Essential
Fatty Acids (EFA's) These oils are vital to keep fish in tip-top condition.
They play a special role in a very wide variety of metabolic
processes including the immune system and even in improving

Medikoi Sturgeon is a sinking pellet food that has been formulated specifically
for Sturgeon and Sterlets.
Medikoi Sturgeon contains only the highest
digestible fish proteins, not vegetable proteins such as soya bean
meal which are indigestible by Sturgeon. Medikoi Sturgeon also provides
the correct proportions of vitamins, minerals and oils to ensure your
Sturgeon receive the best balanced nutritional food available. Other
species of fish in your pond will also find Medikoi Sturgeon highly palatable.
Recommended Feeding:
Before feeding your sturgeon ensure the other fish have been fed first,
idealy on a floating pellet, so that the sturgeon is not out competed for
food.
Spring: As the water temperatures increase so to will the activity of your
Sturgeon and its nutritional requirements. Start introducing a few pellets
of Medikoi Sturgeon food only adding more when all the other pellets have
been eaten.
Summer: Your Sturgeon will be feeding heavily and growing the most at
this time of year. It is important to introduce enough Medikoi Sturgeon
food to the pond so that your Sturgeon can grow and is able to eat enough
food before the other fish in the pond. Remember to remove any uneaten
food.
Autumn: Continue feeding as Sturgeon will be building their reserves for
the winter, as the temperature drops monitor the amount of food being
consumed and gradually reduce only if necessary.
Winter: Sturgeon will feed down to 4 C, so continue introducing a few pellets
even when the other fish in your pond have stopped feeding. Only
introduce more pellets when the rest of the pellets have been consumed.

Protect your Fish from Parasites
Medikoi Wheatgerm with Garlic is formulated to protect your fish
from parasites. Garlic is rich in sulphur containing compounds
which give it it's characteristic smell. These compounds are known
to have repellant properties. The volatile oils in garlic diffuse
through the skin of the fish and into the mucus layer. Parasites
which live in the mucus layer of the fish react to these compounds
by swimming away from them.
Fish are most vulnerable to parasitic attack when the water starts
to warm up again in the spring and when new fish are introduced
into the pond.
In the cooler times of the year when the fish in your pond are being
given a rest from the rapid growth provided by higher protein diets,
they should be fed Medikoi Wheatgerm with garlic.
