The Koi Logic Aquatic Centre

Koi Logic is set on a three acre site in the semi-rural town of Upminster, Essex. The site is bordered by two small rivers and a scenic woodland. Koi Logic is close to the M25 (J29) and on a the major route from Brentwood through to the Lakeside Shopping Centre, Thurrock. It is this ideal location that makes Koi Logic a very pleasent but convienent place to visit.

Koi Logic has developed the site into a large aquatic centre from a former plant nursery, this development work has taken five years to date and is still in progress as further areas of the business are expanded.


The Owners of Koi Logic

Koi Logic was started by a Father and Son team, Doug and James Hanford in 1994. Doug brings to Koi Logic his forty years of personal experiences keeping Koi. As a former Vice Chairman and Medication Officer for the "Essex Section" of the "British Koi Keepers Society", Doug has gained years of knowledge from one of the most active sections within the "British Koi Keepers Society".
 
James brings to Koi Logic his childhood years keeping and showing Koi guided by Doug. James has also worked on Trout, Salmon and other Koi Farms and later went on to Sparsholt College, Hampshire, where he gained a "Countryside Related Studies - ONC in aquatics and ornamental fish management" this gives James valuable experience in water chemistry, Koi health and all aspects of keeping Koi successfully.

Koi Logic stocks a vast range of Koi and Pond Products all in stock and at competitive prices. Koi Logic also produce a range of Koi related products that are available direct from Koi Logic or through the network of Koi dealers in the South of England  that also stock Ogata Koi supplied by Koi Logic.

Koi Logic only purchase Koi from the Ogata Koi Farm, Japan. These Koi are available all year with the largest selection of Koi available from March to November. As a guide smaller Koi up to 12" are available up to November and larger koi from 16" available from November.
